About the Riverina Strategic Pest Animal Management Plan.
The Riverina Strategic Pest Animal Management Plan was developed through consultation with a range of stakeholders. It's important that we all work together to manage pest animals.
The plan covers 9 established pest species identified for Riverina Local Land Services (LLS) region, whilst highlighting 'alert species' which are pests that have been detected elsewhere yet pose a significant risk to our community and industries.
The priority pests identified in the Riverina LLS region are:
- Wild dog
- Feral deer
- Feral horse
- Common carp
- Feral cat
- European red fox
- Feral goat
- Feral pig
