About the Northern Tablelands Strategic Pest Animal Management Plan.
The Northern Tablelands Regional Strategic Pest Animal Management Plan was developed through consultation with a range of stakeholders. It's important that we all work together to manage pest animals.
This plan covers 12 established pest animal species in the Northern Tablelands. It also highlights 'alert species' which are pests that have been detected elsewhere yet pose a significant risk to our community and industries in the Northern Tablelands of NSW.
Priority pest animals addressed for the Northern Tablelands include:
- Cane toad
- Feral cat
- Feral deer (Chital, Fallow, Red, Rusa)
- Wild dog
- European red fox
- Feral goat
- Feral horse
- Feral pig
