Have your say to help improve work health and safety in NSW
SafeWork NSW is reviewing twenty codes of practice developed before the introduction of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
We are asking for your help to make sure the codes are still relevant, easy to understand and support current and evolving work practices and technologies.
Your feedback will help ensure the codes reflect current work practices and protect workers and the community.
Thank you for your feedback
SafeWork NSW has established an Industry Social Partners Working Group of specific industry and union representatives to review the public consultation responses and existing content. This is to ensure codes reflect work health and safety (WHS) best practices, technologies, and environmental conditions to achieve WHS standards required under the 2011 Work Health and Safety Act and 2017 Regulation laws. This will inform the next steps and if the codes will be updated.
We are using your feedback to inform updated codes of practice.
