We would like to hear from a wide range of people, organisations and businesses so that we can gather diverse perspectives and input. We are particularly interested in the experiences of people with a disability and those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

The following people and organisations are encouraged to participate:

  • Anyone (individuals, businesses or other organisations) who has interacted with or worked with DCITHS or any of our entities.
  • Independent creatives, artists, performers, musicians, filmmakers, crew staff.
  • Businesses in the hospitality industry, music and film, digital games, or arts and cultural sectors
  • Liquor licensees or betting providers, or workers at these venues
  • NSW Government partners, including local councils
  • Members of the public who attend events or venues to enjoy art, listen to music, watch film, or view a performance or exhibition.
  • Patrons of restaurants, bars, clubs or other hospitality venues

The survey is completely anonymous unless you choose to provide personal information.

After the survey, we will use what we learned about your experiences to draft actions to include in our plans. We won’t be able to include every idea, but we will continue to work on co-design with target groups to make sure our plans are meaningful for you.

We want you to see how your voice makes a difference. Once the draft plans are ready, we’ll share them here so you can tell us if they reflect your needs and priorities. They will be the first of their kind for disability inclusion and multicultural planning at DCITHS, so we want to make sure they set a solid foundation for us to build on over time.
