Have your say to help improve work health and safety in NSW
SafeWork NSW is reviewing twenty codes of practice developed before the introduction of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
We are asking for your help to make sure the codes are still relevant, easy to understand and support current and evolving work practices and technologies.
Tell us what you think
Have your say by 20 November on these codes of practice:
- Control of work–related exposure to hepatitis and HIV (blood-borne) viruses
- Safety aspects in the design of bulk solids containers including silos, field bins and chaser bins
- Safe handling of timber preservatives and treated timber
- Safe use of bulk solids containers and flatbed storage including silos, field bins and chaser bins
- Safe use and storage of chemicals (including pesticides and herbicides) in agriculture
- Safe use and storage of chemicals including pesticides and herbicides in non-agricultural workplaces
- Transport and delivery of cash-in-transit industry
- Technical guidance
Your feedback will help ensure the codes reflect current work practices and protect workers and the community.
