Expression of Interest invited: Cessnock Hospital Redevelopment arts program

The Cessnock Hospital Redevelopment is creating a modern, welcoming healthcare facility for our community, and we want local creativity to be part of it.

Expressions of Interest (EOIs) are now open for art commissions in the new acute services building, with opportunities for artists to contribute works that will help create calming, uplifting spaces for patients, families, and staff.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a significant public health project and showcase your work in a high-profile space that reflects the spirit and diversity of Cessnock.

There are multiple opportunities available, and artists are invited to apply for:

• Envirographics - up to three artists will be selected to create artworks that will be installed as large-scale graphics throughout the new hospital areas
• Curated wall-hung artworks - to be displayed in clinical corridors

We welcome EOIs from artists at all career stages who are living or working in the Hunter New England Local Health District and who have a connection to Cessnock. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists are encouraged to apply, as well as organisations and collaborative groups.
