Help us improve work health and safety in NSW
SafeWork NSW has drafted a new Work near overhead and underground electric lines code of practice. We propose this code will replace the existing 2006 Work near overhead power lines code of practice.
Following consultation with stakeholders, we have created a draft code of practice that better meets modern safety standards and new ways of working. The code provides information and guidance to make sure risks from overhead and underground electric lines are managed according to work health and safety laws.
