Help inform the NSW Government's remake of the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2017
The Work Health and Safety (WHS) Regulation (the Regulation) applies to all NSW workplaces to protect workers from risks to their health and safety.
The current Regulation ends on 1 September 2025 unless it is remade, with or without changes.
We are asking for your feedback so we can improve, modernise and streamline the Regulation.
This consultation is divided into two parts:
- Part 1: Consultation on WHS Regulation remake 2017 (NSW-specific WHS regulations)
- Part 2: Consultation on the Model WHS Regulations (National WHS regulations).
Find more information on the National approach to WHS.
For more information on the scope of this consultation and the proposed amendments, see the Work Health and Safety Regulation consultation discussion paper.
