Upskilling the building and construction industry
Reforming building laws in NSW
The NSW Government is working to increase confidence in our building and construction industry.
We are looking at how we can better protect consumers and support workers through our Reforming building laws in NSW consultation.
Have your say on upskilling the building and construction industry
As part of this overall consultation, we are looking at streamlining the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) system, introducing training as an alternative to disciplinary action and expanding skills assessments for certifiers and other practitioners.
This topic is most relevant to builders, specialist tradespeople, engineers, building designers, fire safety practitioners, architects, registered training organisations and certifiers.
Whether you work in building and construction or are a member of the public, if you have an opinion on the building industry in NSW, we want to hear from you.
