Temora Health Service Redevelopment - Public Exhibition

The NSW Government has committed $95 million to the Temora Health Service Redevelopment.

The Temora Health Service Redevelopment will provide a contemporary health facility with high quality healthcare services. The design is carefully planned to meet community needs now and into the future. Community engagement will continue with the local community, stakeholders, and staff to ensure the hospital design is a safe and welcoming environment for all who visit.

Key features of the project include construction of a new single-storey building, which will house an expanded medical imaging unit, including new ultrasound and CT services.

Temora Health Service will continue to provide emergency department services, as well as modern inpatient accommodation with beds available for medical, surgical, rehabilitation, palliative care, and maternity patients.

Other facilities and services to be delivered include perioperative facilities for surgery and procedures, medical imaging, community and allied health, ambulatory clinics, specialist community mental health, drug and alcohol services and clinical and non-clinical support services.

As planning and design nears completion, a Review of Environmental Factors (REF) report has been developed to assess the potential benefits and environmental impacts of the project.

The REF planning documents and facility designs are now available for the community to view and provide feedback until 11:59pm on Friday 2 May 2025.

Feedback can be provided via the 'Make a submission' form below.

The submissions received will be used to finalise the design, prior to construction commencing in late 2025.

Health Infrastructure and Murrumbidgee Local Health District are continuing to work together to ensure priority health services are delivered for the local community as part of the project.

Health Infrastructure engages with community and stakeholders, which includes seeking input and feedback on our projects in accordance with our Community Participation Plan.

The project team appreciates the valuable time and input provided by staff, stakeholders and the community into the design process for the development.
