We want to hear from people with disability and carers of people with disability about the design of accessibility upgrade at Tascott Train Station.

We are making public transport options safer and more accessible by upgrading train stations across NSW as part of the Safe Accessible Transport program. This will be done by installing new lifts, widening platforms and improving signage and wayfinding to make it easier for people with disabilities to use their local stations. These station upgrades will help us meet compliance with the Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport (DSAPT).

Be a part of the design process

We would like people with disabilities of all kinds to share your experience of using Tascott Train Station with our project team. You will make a real difference to your community by helping us design a station that meets the needs of the local community. Your feedback will help the project team design a better station for everyone, including people with disabilities.

We want to better understand what makes using a train station hard for you and what things make it easier. That might be ramps, hearing loops, or clearly marked areas where you can be helped on or off the train.

We are keen to engage with people with different disability types including people with cognitive and intellectual disabilities. We are also happy to speak with you over the phone or via email to obtain your feedback, via 1800 684 490 or email projects@transport.nsw.gov.au.
