    My grandmother lives within the NSW Southern Highlands Region, residing in Moss Vale. There are only two general-practitioners (GP's) within the Bowral-Moss Vale area, with one almost 80 years old, having frequent tendencies to forget medical information, or to simply bypass essential testing etc. Moreover, when my grandmother takes the bus service into Bowral for food or shopping, the bus drivers do not know where bus stop locations are, how much the tickets are, and when the next bus will come.     We try to say hello and welcome people whenever we can. If we see new faces around the shops or the area I’m always sure to smile and say a quick hello, and am always up for a chat with everyone.

    I’ve joined meet up groups or social groups meeting with similar interests or hobbies. This was a good way to meet and connect with new people.
  • $1000 ambulance ride

    I have family members who live in the Jervis Bay region, it cost them $1000 to get an ambulance to Nowra hospital. How can anyone live in regional NSW when it costs them so much for such a basic service?
