Improving consumer confidence in residential strata buildings
We are working with the Strata Community Association (NSW) to collect information from you as a Strata Manager about Class 2 residential buildings to understand the scale and nature of major defects
This is part of a strategy to increase consumer confidence and to reduce the burden defects have on you and occupants of apartments in NSW.
This is not a compliance check by government. We just want to know about your experiences. The data we collect will give a clearer picture of the sector and how we can make it better.
We'll also use some of the information you provide in the survey to populate the Strata Portal which will become mandatory around mid-2021. These questions will be clearly marked. The Portal will be a central, accessible database about the state's strata schemes. By providing accurate information now, it means you won't have to provide this information again later. Your data will remain confidential and your privacy protected.
