Post your ideas to reduce risk on our regional map

The Northern Rivers Disaster Adaptation Plan (DAP) will include short and long-term actions to reduce, or adapt to, the risk from natural hazards.

We're asking for your ideas on how to reduce the impact natural hazards have on our communities.

Your ideas will help make sure the Northern Rivers DAP:

  • focuses on the right regional priorities
  • tackles risk that one council can't manage alone
  • turns local ideas into solutions with strong regional benefits
  • addresses risk and disasters that cross council boundaries
  • shows where state and federal support is needed

Take a moment to review the information on the reducing hazard risk page to understand the risk reduction toolkit and how to use these tools.
