Help improve Wagga Wagga's transport network.
Transport for NSW is carrying out the Wagga Wagga Northern Access Strategy to help guide future planning priorities and investment opportunities to create a transport network which operates as safely and efficiently as possible.
We are investigating improvements to the transport network in Wagga Wagga with a focus on the Olympic and Sturt highways, including major intersections along these corridors, and areas of industrial and residential growth in the north of Wagga Wagga.
The Wagga Wagga Northern Access Strategy will inform planning for a more efficient future transport network which meets the needs of road users and the community. This forms part of our long-term commitment to provide safe, efficient and reliable journeys through Wagga Wagga.
The strategy will focus on key areas such as road safety, connectivity and network links, congestion points and queuing, active travel (pedestrian and cycling access), public transport, parking, freight movement, property access and environment.
The Wagga Wagga Northern Access Strategy aims to benefit the community by:
- supporting economic growth and future transport needs in and around Wagga Wagga
- improving road safety
- delivering a high performing, well integrated and efficient transport network
- improving accessibility to transport infrastructure and services for all community members
- providing more reliable journeys and better-connected transport services through Wagga Wagga.

Consultation with the community is an important part of this strategy. We are committed to working with the community to help guide us on how we can continue to plan and investigate to improve the transport network.
We are seeking community feedback by 11:59pm on Monday 28 October.
When giving your feedback, please remember to:
