Transport for NSW is planning new bus services to connect local communities in Western Sydney.

The new services are set to unlock growth in Western Sydney. The NSW Government is planning new bus routes to connect key activity centres, including Blacktown, Mount Druitt, Liverpool, Penrith, Campbelltown, the new Western Sydney International Airport (WSIA), and Bradfield City. These enhanced connections will support access to employment, health services, educational institutions, leisure facilities, and other local community resources.

The new bus services will:

  • support the public transport needs of the communities and businesses in Western Sydney, as well as construction sites at the Airport and Bradfield City Centre
  • provide dependable transportation to local community services, including educational institutions, retail areas, and health precincts,
  • establish sustainable travel choices for residents living and working in Western Sydney
  • build upon the availability of services beyond peak hours by increasing frequency and reliability
  • expand route coverage by introducing new routes and improved service planning for better connectivity.
