Transport for NSW is planning new bus services to connect local communities in Western Sydney.

The new services are set to unlock growth in Western Sydney. The NSW Government is planning new bus routes to connect key activity centres, including Blacktown, Mount Druitt, Liverpool, Penrith, Campbelltown, the new Western Sydney International Airport (WSIA), and Bradfield City. These enhanced connections will support access to employment, health services, educational institutions, leisure facilities, and other local community resources.

Project update

Thank you for your feedback

Your insights and experiences have made a valuable contribution to our 2024 Have Your Say consultation. We received over 3,000 pieces of individual feedback which has helped us shape the final bus routes and develop a trial Bus Shelter Program with selected councils to help increase the number of bus shelters across Western Sydney.

The consultation outcomes report is now available and provides a summary of key findings and issues raised by the community and key stakeholders.

Updated information on the new routes and other related project news is also available on the project webpage.

New bus services will commence on 5 July 2026.
