The New Bankstown Hospital will be located in the Bankstown CBD on Chapel Road, Bankstown.

The location provides convenient access to public transport links for patients, staff and visitors, including bus, rail and the future Metro.

To meet the health needs of the rapidly growing community, the NSW Government has committed $1.3 billion for the planned hospital as part of its 2023-24 budget.

The existing hospital will continue to operate, ensuring there is no disruption to services during construction.

On the completion of the new hospital, the existing hospital site will continue to operate for community and day only services, providing for local community needs.
