What are we doing at Albion Park Station?
The More Trains, More Services program will simplify and modernise the rail network. In order to improve train services for customers on the south coast, platform extensions and asset upgrades are required at a number of stations along the T4 Illawarra Line.
Work we are doing to improve rail services for customers and our staff
- undertaking non-destructive digging to complete service investigation work
- realigning and installing new track and signalling equipment so that the new trains can operate safely and efficiently
- completing cable and electrical upgrades to support the installation of additional rail infrastructure
We will continue to work with local communities and keep you informed about construction activities in your area.

We are committed to integrating sustainable practices into our projects and reducing environmental impacts.
After May 2023, we will no longer be distributing hard copy notifications to residents on this project unless requested.
Instead, we will be providing construction updates by email.
