Local Land Services: Help shape improvements in the way we operate
It's your time to have your say on the draft regional strategic plans.
Consultation on local strategic plans across all 11 Local Land Services regions is now open. Your feedback is critical to the development of our priorities across the state.
Our planning process
The 10-year Local Land Services State Strategic Plan and the 11 local strategic plans nested under it, set the long-term agenda for the organisation at both the state and local levels. These local plans:
- define the priorities of Local Land Services
- outline the way services will be delivered to build resilient communities, while meeting local needs
- contribute to state-level priorities.
Our strategic planning process is structured so that the State Strategic Plan guides local strategic plans, which in turn guide operational/business plans and then personal work plans.
The personal work plans align with and contribute to results outlined in each of the planning documents. This provides the focus, and a single line of sight from day-to-day delivery to strategy.
The State Strategic Plan exists as part of an overall framework that links NSW, Australian and Local Government plans and initiatives through all levels of its operations.
Why consult?
Consultation on our strategic planning process is carried out to:
- ensure local and state strategic plans are aligned to contribute to statewide objectives, while still delivering services that are locally specific and meet the needs of customers and stakeholders
- gain feedback on the four Local Land Services pillars: Grow, Protect, Connect, Support
- allow us to engage with customers and stakeholders to ensure we can find ways to be here when it matters most
