Liquor licence applicants and the community need to be able to access demographic and alcohol related information when making liquor-related applications. Liquor & Gaming NSW wants your views on how the LiveData tool has been working.

Launched in August 2020, the public LiveData tool aims to create a better customer experience by enabling users to search and generate reports. These show the number and types of licensed premises, and the latest demographic and alcohol-related crime and health data for every suburb and local government area in NSW.

LiveData brings together publicly available data into one centralised, easy-to-use online tool. It includes interactive maps, charts and benchmarks. The biggest benefit is that the data and information generated is the same as that used by the Independent Liquor & Gaming Authority during their decision-making process for approving liquor licensing applications.

We want to hear from liquor licence applicants and operators (and their representatives), community groups and associations, local councils, legal practitioners, members of the public and health services who have used LiveData.
