Public consultation for the NSW Industry Policy Green Paper has closed. Thank you so much for your survey responses, ideas and comments. Please see submissions provided by Australia and NSW's industry ecosystem to the right of this page.
To ensure that NSW industry policy continues to benefit NSW industries and residents, we have invited feedback on the forces driving substantial, rapid and ongoing change across the economy and on the actions to ensure NSW continues to offer a business environment enabling accelerated growth.
Our Green Paper explores a range of transformative forces
Transformative forces driving structural economic change over the next 10 to 15 years will underpin industry policy reform in NSW. Examples of these forces include:
- Transition to net zero emissions by 2050.
- Building a circular economy.
- Shifting to an increasingly digital economy.
- Harnessing new opportunities and managing risks in global value chains; and
- Capitalising on growing consumer markets in Asia.
The Green Paper builds on the NSW Industry Development Framework released in February 2022.
Public submissions
Public submissions were invited from NSW industry groups, individual businesses, higher education and research institutions and interested members of the broader community. The Green Paper set out a series of questions to guide these written submissions.
