A new state of the night
In 2023 and 2024, the NSW Parliament passed a series of reforms, known as the Vibrancy Reforms, designed to support NSW's live music sector and make it easier for businesses in the night-time economy to grow and adapt.
The Vibrancy Reforms have introduced a series of changes impacting licensed venues including the removal of unnecessary regulation, streamlined approval processes, and put in place common-sense approaches to liquor licensing and sound management.
