The Heavy Vehicle Rest Stop Stakeholder Engagement Report provides an overview of consultation undertaken with the road freight industry between November 2022 and March 2023 and the resulting feedback.

Better facilities and services, more places to rest, and fit-for-purpose heavy vehicle rest stop designs are some of the key themes outlined in the report, which details the current experiences and needs of heavy vehicle drivers in using rest stops in NSW to manage fatigue.

Insights and feedback will be used by Transport for NSW to better inform investment planning and delivery of heavy vehicle rest stops across the State.
