Let us know what you think of the Future Mobility Testing and Research Centre

The Future Mobility Testing and Research Centre (FMTRC), operated by Transport for NSW, is Australia’s next world-class testing and research centre for safer vehicle and sustainable transport technologies.

The FMTRC’s site roots trace back to the historic Hazelton airfield, a hub for transport and aviation between 1959 and 2002. Today, this legacy continues with the FMTRC’s development plans, set to expand the site over 130 hectares. Plans include a 4.4 kilometre loop track and a 500 metre access road to a skid pan, enabling new heavy vehicle testing and more advanced light vehicle testing. The site expansion is an investment in regional NSW and will generate new jobs through construction and on-going roles for testing and operational staff.
