We want your feedback on the NSW Implementation Plan on Closing the Gap.
The NSW Coalition of Aboriginal Peak Organisations (CAPO) and the NSW Government have been working in partnership to develop the plan to guide how the National Agreement on Closing the Gap will be implemented in NSW. This Implementation Plan outlines the Closing the Gap roadmap for 2021-22 and is the first iteration of the 10-year annual review process.
There are four Priority Reforms in the National Agreement and a NSW specific Priority Reform with the aim of transforming the way governments work with Aboriginal communities to create positive change.
Formal partnerships and shared decision-making
Building the community-controlled sector
Transforming government organisations
Shared access to data and information at a regional level
(NSW specific) Employment, business growth and economic prosperity
We want your feedback on what we should continue and what we need to improve for the next NSW Implementation Plan. Your feedback will ensure we’re moving in the right direction for transformative change for Aboriginal people.
Tell us what you think
Your feedback will help inform and refine the next steps taken towards Closing the Gap for Aboriginal communities in NSW. This is an important opportunity to have a direct voice about the changes you want to see in your community and how you want Closing the Gap to operate.
