Health Infrastructure (HI) is proposing to carry out main works at 116-132 Wellington Street, Bombala NSW 2632 on land described as Lot 1 DP1133188.

The NSW and Australian Governments have committed $40 million to expand the Bombala Multipurpose Service (MPS). This investment will improve access to residential aged care and healthcare services for Bombala and surrounding communities.

Work to deliver the expansion is another step closer with planning documents now on public exhibition for the community to view and provide feedback.

The project will deliver additional aged care accommodation to better support older residents in Bombala and surrounding areas. New aged care spaces will be designed to ensure comfort, safety and dignity, while maintaining a welcoming, home-like feel.

The planning proposal includes:

• 20 additional residential aged care beds

• Service upgrades to support the new beds

• Additional car parking

As part of the project’s planning approval process, a Review of Environmental Factors (REF) has been prepared to assess the works impacts and is on public exhibition until midnight on Friday 8 May 2026.

You’re invited to view the plans and make a submission in the online form below. The submissions received will be used to finalise the details of the design.

In addition, you can find out more at the following community sessions:

  • Drop-in information stall: Monday, 20 April, 3.00pm–6.00pm outside Bombala IGA
