Bathurst Hospital Redevelopment

The NSW Government is investing $200 million in the Bathurst Hospital Redevelopment to provide patients, staff and, carers with access to modern health facilities and expanded healthcare services to meet the healthcare needs of the Central West region. The redevelopment will also deliver additional parking in and around the hospital campus.

As planning and design nears completion, the project was placed on public exhibition from 21 February to 21 March 2025.

As part of the public exhibition, the project’s Review of Environmental Factors (REF) report, which has been prepared to assess the potential benefits and environmental impacts of the project, was available for feedback.

21 submissions were received during the public exhibition period and informed the final REF conditions and mitigation measures as documented in the REF Submissions Report.

Planning approval for the Bathurst Hospital Redevelopment Health project was granted on 1 July 2025.
