The NSW Government is committed to strengthening support for artists, venues, managers and music workers through the Entertainment Industry Act. A Statutory Review of the Act was conducted in 2022 and resulted in a wide range of recommendations. Some of these recommendations related to specific provisions within the Act and Regulation.

Over the last month we invited you to share your thoughts on potential changes to the Entertainment Industry Act. We would like to seek further clarification on some issues raised during this survey, to better shape any proposed changes to the Act.
