The new two-storey Northeast Building (NEB) will be built as part of the Albury Wodonga Regional Hospital project, adjacent to East Street as part of the early works stage.
The NEB will allow us to temporarily move services, such as those currently located in the Allied Health Building, until the new multi-storey Clinical Services Building is complete.
The design of the new Northeast Building has been informed by clinician led Project User Groups, made up of clinicians and hospital staff.
As part of the Albury Wodonga Hospital Project, 103 submissions were received during the public exhibition period. All submissions were reviewed and considered as part of the planning approval process.
Feedback received during the public exhibition was documented, provided to the redevelopment team and informed the final REF conditions and mitigation measures as documented in the Submissions & REF Update Report.
The REF documentation is available on the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure’s portal at: https://www.planningportal.nsw.gov.au/part-5
Health Infrastructure engages with community and stakeholders, including seeking input and feedback on our projects, in accordance with our Community Participation Plan.
The project team sincerely appreciates the time, input and feedback provided by staff, stakeholders and community members throughout the planning and design process for the NEB.
