Help shape a new small business advisory service.
The NSW Government has announced that it will provide a new advisory service for small businesses.
The service will provide specialist advice to help small business owners build practical skills to run and grow their business.
To ensure the service reflects the needs of small businesses across different industries, business stages and locations, we are asking small business owners to have their say on the key supports the new advisory service should include.
Stakeholders, including peak bodies, business chambers and local councils, are also encouraged to contribute to the consultation.
We want to understand:
- what support will make the biggest difference to small businesses
- what core skills or advice do small businesses need at different stages
- how small business owners prefer to access support.
Tell us what you think
We want to hear from small businesses about the key supports the new advisory service should provide and encourage you to complete a short survey or make a submission.
This consultation is open until 11:59pm, Sunday 19 April 2026.
