How is this consultation related to other recent NSW Government strata consultations?
Recently, the NSW Government has held other strata consultations, including a survey on pets in strata, and a review of all strata laws.
Since the reporting scheme will be a new requirement and is not yet commenced, these previous consultations did not include questions about annual reporting requirements or the Strata Hub.
The pets in strata consultation led to changes in the law that commenced on 25 August 2021. The consultation on the review of all strata laws ended on 7 April 2021 and a report on the outcomes of the review will be tabled in Parliament in November 2021. You can find more information on the outcome of the previous consultations by visiting their Have Your Say webpage.
