The purpose of the statutory review is to determine whether the policy objectives of the amendments remain valid, and whether the terms of the Workers Compensation Acts remain appropriate for securing those objectives.
The Review will be conducted by independent consultants engaged by the Office of Finance and Services - The Centre for International Economics.
The Centre for International Economics will consult with key stakeholders through interviews and workshops with peak representative organisations and will consider written comments and submissions provided via this website.
The Centre for International Economics will also consider all submissions and transcripts of evidence published by the Parliament’s Standing Committee on Law and Justice in its Review of the Exercise of the Functions of the WorkCover Authority.
Submissions can be emailed to the Project Manager.
Comments and submissions will be kept confidential unless specific consent to publish is provided.
