The Law Enforcement Conduct Commission (the Commission) is the independent oversight body of the NSW Police Force. The Commission is looking at ways to improve how the NSW Police Force responds to mental health-related interactions.

Your input will help to ensure the NSW Police Force has reasonable and adequate policies, systems, and training in place to help police officers effectively respond. The Commission cannot make comments or recommendations about whether agencies other than police should be first responders in NSW.

If you would like more information about the Commission, or how to make a complaint, you can visit our website.
