Network electricity charges
Seeking customer input on changes to network tariffs in NSW
What’s this about?
Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy and Essential Energy – the electricity distributor companies that supply electricity to homes, businesses and community organisations in NSW (“the poles and wires”) – are asking people across the state their views about what type of electricity tariffs they will charge between 2017 – 2019.
Network tariffs charged by distributors make up about 40 per cent of the cost of electricity bills.
NSW electricity distributors must propose their 2017 – 2019 tariff structure statements to the Australian Energy Regulator in November this year.
The distributors have released an Issues Paper (included on this consultation site) about their proposed tariffs.
Have your say
Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy and Essential Energy invite you to have your say about the tariffs they will propose to the Australian Energy Regulator.
Please review the attached Issues Paper and the questions it contains.
Submit your written feedback by 9am Friday 30 October 2015 via email firstname.lastname@example.org or post to
